Location
Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is nestled up a steep hill, offering proximity to the center and the ferry port to Preikestolen. The rooms are completely redone to a high standard, featuring a comfortable setup with a coffee machine. While the service is friendly, it could be more attentive. Dining options have potential for improvement, yet the homemade pies and jams stand out. A drawback is the reserved parking blocking much of the location, losing some of its advantages.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, after a small hiccup, turned out to be cozy and had a really comfortable bed, though it was a bit dusty initially. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very friendly and attentive. The location was great, especially after a day of walking, as it was so close to the city center. The dining experience was fantastic, offering a variety of satisfying food options, but the room cleanliness could have been better.
The hotel offers stylish, spacious, and quiet rooms with comfortable beds and ergonomic workspaces, although some rooms are at street level. The service is very helpful and welcoming, especially regarding tourist attractions. The location is superb for all touristic activities and access to wharf restaurants, however, there are issues with children misusing the area. The dining options are varied, with delicious dishes available, and the facilities are convenient for both business and pleasure travelers.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with modern rooms and friendly, helpful staff. While the cleanliness could have been better, the size of the rooms was adequate, and the location was great, right next to the bus stop, restaurants, and a short stroll to the waterfront.
I stayed at the hotel and had a lovely time overall. The rooms were cozy and had comfortable beds and a nice work desk. However, there was some noise from the street in the morning and evening. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the city center, but a bit uphill. The dining experience was decent, though it lacked some pastries that I was looking forward to. The indoor pool and other facilities were enjoyable.
